Yuta Nakamura | 中村 祐太

北海道を拠点に冬は滑り手を追って雪山で写真を撮り、夏は北の森や山と関わる人間の営みを記録している。彼自身のアーカイブする事への根底的な情熱は、自然との深い関係性を築き上げている人々のストーリーや思考を写真や映像といったコミュニケーションツールを用い、仲介者として必要な場所や時へと伝えていく事である。また、彼もその場所で紡がれている知恵や視点を日々学んでいる1人である。

Yuta Nakamura is a Hokkaido-based photographer and film director. He spends most of his time outside throughout the year photographing skiers in the winter and documenting human life in boreal woods and mountains in the summer. Through his works, he strives to tell unique and impactful stories of human interaction with the natural environment as well as to capture the fleeting moments of human life.
